Meet the co-founders of Tantra Sound Club, Akshaya Adhikari and Julie Skibinski.

Akshaya brings his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for ancient practices, including Tantra, Yoga, Ayurveda, and Astrology, to the table. He has extensive experience in using hand-made singing bowls for promoting overall wellbeing and personal development. His background in mantra healing and social justice has given him a unique perspective on the transformative power of sound, which he shares through the Tantra Sound Club.

Julie, on the other hand, is a highly skilled French designer who specialises in transforming spaces through arts and sound. She integrates the principles of Tantra into her work to create immersive and transformative environments that engage the senses and unlock human potential. Julie recognises the importance of relaxation and incorporates original singing bowls from Nepal into her space designs as the most effective tool for improving wellbeing.

Together, Akshaya and Julie share a passion for promoting mental, physical, and holistic wellbeing through the use of ancient practices and transformative experiences. They are committed to sharing their knowledge and expertise through workshops, lectures, and written works, and assisting individuals, businesses, and institutions in creating beautiful mindfulness spaces in their homes and workplaces.

Julie Skibinski is a highly skilled French designer who specialises in arts applied to industry with a focus on both industrial and artisanal design. She has extensive experience in space design, including space rehabilitation, scenography, and arts installation in both France and the UK.

As the Co-Founder of Tantra Sound Club, Julie's aim is to create transformative experiences that engage the senses and unlock human potential by designing spaces of sound and sensation. Julie recognises that our internal state is crucial to the acceptance and appreciation of our environment.

After studying Yoga Nidra and Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, Julie realised the importance of relaxation from noise to silence, using sound and its vibrations from the core of our physical and mental being, a fundamental principle of Tantra. By incorporating the wisdom of Tantra into her work, Julie integrates the use of original singing bowls from Nepal as the most effective tool for improving wellbeing in people’s day-to-day lives. Her space designs allow individuals to find solace from the noise of everyday life and discover the power of Yantra, Tantra, and Mantra practices.

Having been trained by the Himalayan Masters of Nepal on original seven metal singing bowls, Julie loves to share her own experience of integrating singing bowls into existing practices and intervention models. As a friend to the Nepalese artisans, healers, and sound shamans, she takes joy in sharing her knowledge through workshops, lectures, and written works.

Akshaya Adhikari is an active project development expert who provides a complimentary intervention to modern-day problems like stress, anxiety, and noise pollution for individuals, businesses, and institutions. Designing innovative solutions to complex issues, Akshaya has used the seven metal singing bowls to extend his mission to construction sites, theatre shows, workshops, and lectures, promoting the benefits of using these bowls for personal and professional development.

Akshaya was born into a Brahmin family in Nepal and has a strong background in Tantra, Yoga, Ayurveda & Astrology. His exposure to the mysteries of Mantra healing and its powerful effects from an early age has given him a deep understanding of the transformative power of sound, and he co-founded Tantra Sound Club to share it with others. Mental, physical, and holistic wellbeing has become an ever-increasing concern, and through Tantra Sound Club, Akshaya shares the knowledge and wisdom of this ancient civilisation without its shroud of mystery. He advocates the incorporation of singing bowls into mainstream healthcare intervention models.

Apart from his professional work, Akshaya is deeply committed to social justice and supports causes that are meaningful to him. He has raised funds for Africa, managed campaigns for equitable healthcare in Asia, and actively participated in charitable causes throughout Europe. He believes in the power of giving back and using his skills and knowledge to make a positive impact in the world.

His passion for designing aesthetically pleasing spaces has allowed him to develop a unique expertise in crafting immersive and transformative environments that use the ancient principles of Tantra Sound.
